A game that I found is kinda of like this, is a game called Kenshi.
Majesty & Majesty 2 - kinda similar (stretching the kinda similar part, but really fun games). A game just came out on Early Access which I believe is similar: Queen Under the Mountain. Stardeus: Early access game, definitely wears the Rimworld influence on its sleeve. However probably worth keeping an eye on that one. I didn't know you could quit Rimworld, I figured it is something you play for the rest of your life.
